golf biomechanics

DO YOU WANT TO:

  • Hit the ball further?

  • Be pain free?

  • Be more consistent?

YOU CAN ACHIEVE ALL THIS WITH STUART, US TRAINED GOLF BIOMECHANIC

As a certified golf biomechanic and strength & conditioning coach, Stuart has the clinical experience to assess muscular issues, as well as the functional knowledge and experience to provide effective golf-based exercise programmes.

He says “Train smart.  Forty minutes of perfect exercise in the gym can be way more beneficial than 3 hours on the driving range with questionable posture.”

A golf swing is all about torso (trunk) rotation, but many people struggle to rotate their torso’s optimally.  Reduced rotation when swinging a club means less club head speed.  This results in  golfers who need to generate more club speed by swinging harder with his arms.  This often means dragging the face of the club across the ball, reducing consistency.

Rather than changing your stance to improve the shot, Stuart will improve torso flexibility to increase your rotation, creating an easier, more fluid swing, resulting in better consistency and more power with less effort.

Stuart's training programmes are based on an initial physical assessment, during which he determines where your muscular strengths and weaknesses lie and assess the quality of your basic movement patterns.  This way, the exercises and stretches recommended are very specific to your own current physical condition, ensuring that ultimately, you become a better golfer.
